MLM Staying Power

TAKEN FROM: Success in Ten Steps ~ Michael Dlouhy

How To Get “Staying Power”

People always tell their goals.

Fine. You need goals.

But your "WHY" is a big, big, big reason that will keep you going.

Where's your fire? What do you LOVE? What do you HATE? What is REALLY important

to you? What do you REALLY want? What situation in life do you want to

get out of so it never ever, EVER happens again?

It's not goals. It's not money, either.

When I started coaching, people would write their "WHY"… usually money.

They’d need to pay a big hospital bill, or replace a car. Whatever.

But your real "WHY" is never money.

It's about who YOU really are.

Your driving factor must be WAY more than money.

It's something you want ... or something you want to get away from. Better yet,

BOTH. If your "WHY" is a 70% and you come up against an obstacle that's a

72%, you're gone. You'll drop out, disappear.

But when your "WHY" is a 99.9%, then you're here to stay and be successful.

Why are you on this planet? In one form or another, you're here to change lives,

touch lives, and help people. What were you meant to do?

Able-Bodied Person Choked by Mind Paralysis

I get pretty impatient with people who are able-bodied
but are somehow paralyzed for other reasons.

All the reasons people don't become what they could become
or don't fulfill their potential,
and they're walking around, able-bodied.

I'm going, 'Come on, come on, go for it'

Inspiration & Purpose ~ Do you approach your MLM like this everyday?

laughter - love - kindness

To awaken each morning with a smile brightening my face;

to greet the day with reverence for the opportunities it contains;

to approach my work with a clean mind; to hold ever before me, even in the doing of little things, the ultimate purpose toward which I am working;

to meet men and women with laughter on my lips and love in my heart;

to be gentile, kind, and courteous through all the hours;

to approach the night with weariness that ever woos sleep and the joy that comes from work well done this is how I desire to waste wisely my days.

Successful MLM Enterprise Requires Mastery of Self

Taking yourself from an employee mindset to a entrepreneurs mindset of the self-employed requires a consistent investment of YOU.

The old mindset of Network Marketing was to "throw money at it". In other words lack of success was because you didn't spend enough money marketing, buy leads, or anything requiring the consistent effort of doing more (buying more leads) to simply play the numbers game. Turning Network Marketing into a direct sales business that appeared to work better for those who had money to invest.

The true investment in Network Marketing is the investment and mastery of yourself. It allows you to respond rather than react and to take ownership and responsibility rather than blame. These characteristics built in yourself allow you to lead others.

Every person who becomes involved in Network Marketing is working on becoming a leader. The amount of personal growth determines how wide and far your reach becomes when you build big, deep, and have a high retention rate.

Don't look to the left, or the right or behind you to see where "others" are in this process because nobody can do the effort to master you, and the minute you take your eyes off of developing yourself and look to see where "others" are in their process you have turned your investment into a competitive race. And there is no competition in your personal growth.

Effect of Thought on Circumstances

Every man is where he is by the law of his being: the thoughts which he has built into his character have brought him there, and in the arrangement of his life there is no element of chance, but all is the result of a law which cannot err. This is just as true of those who feel "out of harmony" with their surroundings as fo those who are contented with them.

As a progressive and evolving being, man is where he is that he may learn that he may grow; and as he learns the spiritual lesson which any circumstance contains for him , it passes away and gives place to other circumstances.

Man is buffeted by circumstances so long as he believes himself to be the creature of outside conditions, but when he realizes that he is a creative power, and that he may command the hidden soil and seeds of being out of which circumstances grow, he then becomes the rightful master of himself.

Keeping a Journal - for life & business

Keeping a journal - a daily analysis and evaluation of your experiences - is an excellent way to reflect upon life and discover things about yourself. If you are not reflecting, as someone once said, you are not thinking. On a superficial level "journaling" makes you think about how you express things and gives you the chance to look back on assessments you made weeks or months earlier. (This is almost always revealing and sometimes humbling.) More fundamentally, keeping a journal helps you tap into your unconscious thought processes and make connections that you might not make otherwise.

In short, keeping a journal helps you find what's in your heart. This is not always good nes; again, self -discovery is a sometimes rocky path to self-knowledge.

Taken From: What it Takes To Be #1 ~ Vince Lombardi, Jr

I know Jim Rohn discusses the importance of keeping a journal too.

Network Marketing requires responsibility to yourself and your actions which all reflect on your organization and even the company you represent.

Our MLM Success Community teaches you how to plan-do-review. A journal is a great way to add on to my reviewing of my activities each day. A little extra effort at the end of the day for the slight edge approach to continuous improvement.
May love joy and journaling forever increase in your life,
